Stress plays and important role in our life. It affects how we think, how we feel and how we act. Stress is our body’s reaction to mental and emotional pressure.

Stress can be caused by a multiple conditions or life events. It is frequently triggered when we are exposed to something new, unexpected, something that threatens our sense of self, or when we believe we have too little control over a certain event.

The main goal of the project “Chill Out” is to equip young people with practical methods on how to cope with stress.

To understand the cause and nature of stress and its impact on the individual’s behaviour and general health

To recognise stress signals in their everyday lives

To be equipped with behavioural techniques that help reduce distress

To learn problem solving strategies when faced with circumstances that are stressors
